 Continued sales growth; launch of AGA City60; good progress expected in 2014 
 
AGA Rangemaster Group plc, the range cooker and kitchen living specialist, is 
today launching the AGA City60 at its new AGA shop in Spitalfields, London E1 
to an invited audience. In advance of the event it is providing a trading 
update ahead of its interim results for the six months ended 30th June 2014 to 
be announced on Friday 22nd August 2014. 
 
Good progress for the full year is expected. Group sales and orders have 
continued to improve although markets remain variable. May was quiet but June 
was strong. The strength of sterling impacts us. A strengthening UK housing 
market is clearly a positive factor and this has fed through slowly into 
increases in spending on cookers. 
 
Order intake year-to-date is up around 6% and sales are up close to 4% - the 
rate of increase in the second half of 2013. Fired Earth and AGA Marvel in 
North America saw order intake increases of over 10%. AGA and Rangemaster 
orders were up by over 6%. Waterford Stanley and Grange were significantly 
down. 
 
The Group is investing in products and marketing this year to support its 
growth plan. The new AGA products - AGA City60 and Dual Control gas - and the 
Rangemaster 60 are coming to market shortly and will widen our addressable 
markets. 
 
The AGA City60 is being launched at the opening of the new AGA shop at 38 
Spital Square, Bishopsgate, London. It is designed for City living and enables 
us to cater for different areas of the housing market, including apartments and 
terraced houses. The AGA City60 is electric and has programmable roasting and 
simmering ovens; a boiling-come-simmering plate and it is factory-finished with 
wheels to ease installation - and room venting. It is priced at GBP4,995 with 
credit available, thus offering a more accessible pricing structure to attract 
a new customer base. The national roll out will follow in September 2014.
