Appointment of Charles Crick

The Directors of East West Resources plc are pleased to announce the appointment of Charles Crick as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect. Charles Anthony Crick (aged 63) is a solicitor and was most recently a director of the Company and its subsidiary, Ambrian Partners Limited ("APL"). He left the Board following completion of the sale of APL in March this year. Charles trained and spent the early part of his career at Allen & Overy. After a number of years in private practice specialising in corporate finance and banking law, he joined Numis Securities in 1996. Until his retirement at the end of 2004 he was head of corporate finance and a main board director of Numis Corporation plc. Charles is also a partner of Longbow Capital LLP, a venture capital partnership.
