Asset Management Investment Company PLC announces that the net asset value per ordinary
share as at         27 September  2006    is                121.10 pence.
The increase in net asset value from the figure as at 26 September 2006 has resulted from a
review by the Directors of the valuation of the Company's investment in IFDC Group S.A.
following consideration of the financial results of that Company for the six months to
30 June 2006.
Unlisted securities are normally revalued on a monthly basis.
