    PDMR/Director and connected persons holding

    Asset Management Investment Company PLC ('the Company') announces that on 20 June 2008 it received notice of the following
transactions:

    *     on 20 June 2008 Mr Andrew Robb, a connected person of Mr George Robb, Director, disposed of a beneficial holding of 108,000
ordinary shares of 25p each (representing 0.56% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company) at a price of 121.5p per share.  The
registered holder was Mr George Alan Robb as nominee for Mr Andrew Robb;

    *     on 20 June 2008 Ms Judith Robb, also a connected person of Mr George Robb, disposed of a beneficial holding of 26,000 ordinary
shares (representing 0.14% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company) at a price of 121.5p per share.  The registered holder was
Mr George Alan Robb as nominee for Ms Judith Robb; and

    *     on 20 June 2008 Namulas Pension Trustees Limited purchased 26,000 ordinary shares of 25p each at a price of 121.5p per share on
behalf of a pension fund of which Mr George Robb is the sole beneficiary.

    As a result of the above transactions, Mr George Robb is interested, directly or indirectly, in a total of 1,820,998 ordinary shares of
25p each representing 9.53% of the voting share capital of the Company.
