American Airlines Updates Food on Board Snack Boxes

FORT WORTH, Texas, Dec. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- American Airlines has
unveiled new Food on Board snack boxes for passengers to purchase
in the main cabin. The Food on Board snack box program is available
on select flights longer than three hours departing from 5 a.m. to
9 p.m. each day. The changes are part of American's ongoing effort
to offer variety to passengers. The morning snack box includes a
Honey Maid(TM) Soft Baked Snack Bar, Mamma Says(TM) Biscotti, Sun
Maid Yogurt Raisins(R), Jacob's Crackers(TM) and Le Petit Fromage.
The afternoon snack box contains Pepperidge Farm(R) Goldfish(R),
O'Brien's(R) Turkey Sausage, Ocean Spray(R) Craisins(R), Oreos(R),
Jacob's Crackers(TM) and Le Petit Fromage. Snack boxes are
available for $3. "We regularly update our snack boxes to provide
variety to our customers, while offering a convenient and
affordable option for purchasing food when traveling," said Mary
McKee, Managing Director - Inflight Products. Snack boxes are
available on: * More than 700 select domestic routes longer than
three hours and on transcontinental and Hawaii flights * Select

offers morning sandwiches/wraps on select flights departing from 6
a.m. to 9:59 a.m. and afternoon sandwiches/wraps on select flights
