Google Inc. (GOOG) is considering developing server processors with technology from ARM Holdings PLC (ARM.LN), Bloomberg News reported Thursday, citing a person with knowledge of the matter.

A Google spokeswoman declined to say whether the company will develop chips, Bloomberg reported. "We are actively engaged in designing the world's best infrastructure," including "both hardware design (at all levels) and software design," she said.
