            Asia Resources Plc (the "Group" or the "Company")
    Resignation of Director
    The Directors have accepted the resignation of Mr Tiam Huat Lim from the Board with immediate effect. Mr Lim's role as finance director
has been assumed by the executive director, Mr Michael Stainer.  Mr Stainer will also assume the role of Company Secretary.
    The Directors wish to pay tribute to Mr Lim for his role in overseeing the integration of Lin Shoon Jewellers, following the reverse
transaction, which saw the enlarged Group being admitted to trading on AIM on 29 January 2008.
