Atlantic Coal plc has today been informed by Mary Catherine Best, spouse of
Stephen Best (Managing Director of the Company), that she has today purchased
662,553 ordinary shares of 0.07p in the Company, at a price of 1.50p per share.
Following the purchase Mary Catherine Best has an interest in 41,098,186 shares,
representing 5.39% of the Company's issued share capital.
