                              Interim Dividend


Further to its Interim Results issued yesterday, ATH Resources plc, one of the
UK's largest coal producers, confirms that the interim dividend of 3.36 pence
per share, payable to Shareholders on the register as at 1 July 2005, will be
paid to Shareholders on the 22 July 2005.
