                Preliminary Results - Wednesday 8 December 2010 
 
ATH Resources plc, one of the UK's largest coal producers, advises that it will 
be announcing its Preliminary Results for the 52 week period ended 4 October 
2010 on Wednesday, 8 December 2010. 
 
An analyst briefing given by David Port, Executive Chairman, Alistair Black, 
Chief Executive and Andy Weatherstone, Group Finance Director will be held at 
9.30 am on Wednesday, 8 December 2010 at Abchurch Communications Ltd, 16th 
Floor, 125 Old Broad Street, EC2N 1AR.

ATH Resources was listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange in June 
2004 and operates three surface coal mines in Scotland; Skares Road, in East 
Ayrshire, Glenmuckloch in Dumfries and Galloway and Muir Dean in Fife. The Group 
is one of the UK's largest coal producers producing approximately 2 million 
tonnes per annum. Coal is used to generate around a third of the UK's 
electricity and the Group holds coal supply contracts with four of the UK's main
