Result of the BBI Extraordinary General Meeting


On 27 March 2007, the Boards of BBI and Theratase announced that  they had
reached agreement on the terms of a recommended proposal to acquire the entire
issued and to be issued share capital of Theratase, to be implemented by way of
a scheme of arrangement (as set out in the Scheme Document). The Proposal
required the approval of the BBI Shareholders as it constituted a reverse
takeover for the purposes of the AIM Rules.

Details of the Proposal and the action to be taken by BBI Shareholders were
further set out in the Admission Document dated 2 April posted to shareholders
and containing a notice of Extraordinary General Meeting. Capitalised
expressions used in this announcement have the same meanings as in the Admission
Document unless the context otherwise requires.

The Company is pleased to announce that at the EGM held earlier today to
consider the ordinary resolutions and the special resolution proposed relating
to the Proposals (including the ordinary resolution to approve the Acquisition),
the Resolutions were all duly passed by the requisite majority.

Completion of the Proposal remains subject to the satisfaction or, if permitted,
waiver of the conditions to the Scheme as set out in the Scheme Document. It is
expected that the Scheme will become effective on 15 May 2007.
