The Board of Birse Group announces that Mr Mike Wilson has resigned as a
director of the Company and as Chief Executive of its principal subsidiary
Birse Construction.  Recognising the Group's continuing focus upon its
contracting activities Mr Peter Birse will combine the role vacated by Mr
Wilson with his existing responsibilities as Group Chairman and Chief
Executive.
