In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules (DTR) 5, we have
received a notification dated 9 May 2007 from QVT Financial LLP, stating that on
4 May 2007 their notifiable interest in the ordinary shares of BPD was reduced
from 3,636,363 to 2,836,363, which represents 3.91% of BPD's issued share
capital.
