     Transfer of FTSE Sector Classification to Business Support Services



Brammer is pleased to note that the FTSE Global Classification Committee has
agreed to the reclassification of the company's sector listing from
Distributors of Industrial Components and Equipment to Business Support
Services.

Ian Fraser, chief executive of Brammer, said:

"Brammer's business profile has changed considerably over the last few years.
More than half of Brammer's profits are now drawn from support services
activities, both under the Livingston division and the Industrial Services
division. The growth pattern of the two core business areas implies that the
importance of support services will continue to increase."
