                                BOARD CHANGE

Brammer  plc,  the  European industrial services group, today  announces  the
resignation  of  Mr Bob Smith as an executive director of  the  company  with
immediate effect.

Bob has been with the group for nine years and a director since 1993.  He now
wishes to pursue a personal business venture.

The  managing directors of the companies in the distribution division of  the
Brammer Group will now report directly to the chief executive Ian Fraser.

Brammer's chairman, Robert Ffoulkes-Jones, said:

"We  are grateful for the considerable efforts Bob has put into growing  our
European distribution division and for his leadership and development of  BSL
where  he was managing director from 1992 to 1997.  We wish him well  in  the
future."
