FURTHER TRADING STATEMENT

Further to the statement issued on 22 February 2005, shareowners are advised
that due to a continuing improvement of the estimated fair value of Brait's 
assets at 31 March 2005, earnings per share (eps) and headline
earnings per share (heps) of the group for the year ending 31 March 2005 are
likely to be within the following ranges:

     *     Basic eps and heps from 33.0 to 39.6 US cents per share

     *     Diluted eps and heps from 30.1 to 36.1 US cents per share


The financial information on which this trading statement has been based has not
been reviewed or reported on by the group's auditors.

The 2005 financial results of the group are expected to be published on or about
26 May 2005.
