Chris Bakhurst appointed Managing Director of BWA Group Plc

BWA Group Plc announced today that Chris Bakhurst has been appointed Group 
Managing Director in addition to his role as Managing Director of British World 
Airlines Limited, which he has held since July 2000. He will succeed Hugh Parry 
who has resigned to return to his own company, Fitzroy Aviation which 
specialises in the airline sector. Fitzroy Aviation will be retained to advise 
the Board on aircraft negotiation.

Announcing the change David Steavenson, the Chairman of BWA Group Plc, thanked 
Hugh Parry for his contribution since December 2000 and commented that, in 
common with other Airlines, BWA are forming a leaner Management team while 
retaining the valuable input of Fitzroy Aviation.
