Final Interim Dividend

In accordance with the Proposals for the amalgamation of the Company with
Personal Assets Trust plc by way of a members' voluntary winding up, as
announced on 27 May 2005, the Board has declared a final interim dividend of
1.75p per share payable on 27 June 2005 to shareholders on the register on 17
June 2005.

This interim dividend will not be paid if the resolution to be proposed at the
Extraordinary General Meeting to be held on 22 June 2005 is not passed by the
requisite majority.
