The Boards of Directors of the trusts have been informed
of a new financial services company which is proposed to
be admitted to AIM.  The new company will be admitted to
AIM by means of an institutional placing and an offer for
subscription.  The offer for subscription will only be
made available to the shareholders of the 10 Cairngorm
Building Societies Investment Trusts and to the
shareholders of the Cairngorm Demutualisation Investment
Trust plc, in each case being those shareholders on the
record the close of business on a date as yet to be
announced.

In addition, in an amendment to the notification of 2
April 1998, the trusts will announce their preliminary
results for the year ended 31 March 1998 on 6 May 1998.
