    ("Coffee Republic" or "the Company")


    Posting of Annual Report & Accounts, Notice of Annual General Meeting ("AGM") and Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM") 

    Coffee Republic PLC, the independent coffeehouse franchisor and operator, announces that it is posting its Annual Report & Accounts for
the 53 week period ended 30 March 2008 together with notices of AGM and EGM to its Shareholders today.  Additionally all of these documents
will shortly be available for viewing on the Company's website.

    The AGM is to be held at the offices of Osborne Clarke, One London Wall, London EC2Y 5EB on 17 October 2008 at 11.00 a.m. In particular,
the Board would highlight the following special resolutions which are to be proposed at the AGM:
    *     A share consolidation on a 1 for 60 basis; and 
    *     The adoption of New Articles of Association in line with the new Companies Act.
    The AGM will be followed immediately by an EGM to discuss the requirements of Section 142 of the Companies Act 1985 for the purpose of
considering whether any, and if so what, measures should be taken to deal with the fact that the net assets of the Company have fallen to
less than half of its called up share capital.  

    Shareholders should note that the date for admission of New Ordinary Shares to AIM and crediting of New Ordinary  Shares to CREST
accounts throughout the Notice of Annual General Meeting and  Extraordinary General Meeting should read 20 October 2008 instead of 18
October 2008.
