                           Chairman's AGM Statement

Comino plc, the Workflow Technology and software applications group, held  its
Annual General Meeting at 10:00am today.

Immediately  after the formal business of the meeting, the Chairman,  informed
shareholders of progress within the Group.  The full text of that statement is
set out below.

Progress

"I  was  pleased  to report an excellent set of results and  achievements  for
Comino's  year to 31 March 1998.  This progress has continued into  the  first
quarter  which has seen the Workflow Technology produce solutions  and  orders
for  Local Authority and Housing Association Call Centres at both departmental
and   corporate levels.  The technology is also producing a new generation  of
Pensions  Management  System for both existing and new  customers,  a  further
example of translating pure technology into working customer solutions.

The  product   strengths,  strong balance sheet, high recurring  revenues  and
strong  order  book  will all contribute towards meeting customer,  staff  and
shareholder goals in the year to March 1999."
