                         COMINO PLC:  CONTRACT AWARDS
              ISE  Subsidiary wins #2m of Local Government Orders

ISE,  part of the AIM-quoted Comino plc, announces that since the year end  31
March  1998,  it  has  won orders in excess of #1.2m to  supply  workflow  and
electronic document management (EDM) solutions to local authorities,  bringing
the total of recent local authority orders to in excess of #2m.  This includes
new  customer  orders worth #1.5m from some of the country's largest  Revenues
and  Benefits  operations and other key local authority departments  including
Electoral   Registration,  Legal  &  Administration  services   and   Pensions
Management.

Revenues  and  Benefit council wins include London Borough  of  Haringey,  the
Metropolitan Boroughs of Rotherham, Gateshead, Wirral, Swale, Chesterfield and
Tamworth   and   North  Wiltshire  District  Council.   Sunderland   is   also
implementing  a  Legal  and Administration system. Orders  from  existing  ISE
customers amount to #500,000.

Workflow  and  document  management applications are used  to  automate/manage
business  processes within a department.  A number of these systems have  been
introduced as pilots for a broader system in the future.
