Dimension Data Expands Executive Team to Meet Growing Need for Managed Services

Dimension Data, a global IT solutions and services
provider, today announced the promotion of Mark Slaga and
Mark Zerbe to key senior-level roles. These two new appointments
will address growing client demand for managed services and help to
drive the overall Managed Services business strategy for Dimension
Data Americas.
As Senior Vice President of Operations for the Americas, Slaga
will be responsible for developing and leading a standard operating
environment to support and deliver a services-led strategy across
the Americas. In addition, Slaga will lead services and sales
support operations across the Americas. In his new role, as Senior
Vice President of North America, Zerbe will lead Dimension Data’s
overall sales efforts and go-to-market strategies. Additionally, he
will oversee Dimension Data’s IT consulting and solutions
development efforts for the US and Canada.

Slaga brings a wealth of experience to this new role. He joined
Dimension Data in 2001 and most recently was Senior Vice President
of Solutions leading the lines of business for North America. Prior
to that, Slaga held a variety of sales and service related roles
including Chief Information Officer, Chief Technology Officer and
Vice President, Advanced Technologies Practices during his ten
years at Dimension Data.
Zerbe joined Dimension Data in 2005 and most recently held the
position of Vice President, Converged Communications. He started
his tenure at Dimension Data as Vice President of Sales for the
Western United States. As part of his new role, Zerbe will be
responsible for leading the implementation of sales growth plans to
ensure client satisfaction and leverage Dimension Data partner
relationships, including his 15-year relationship with Cisco.
