IPN Communications Signs Agreement with PhoTron Technologies to
Distribute VoIP Products to the Philippines IRVINE, Calif., Mar. 22
/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- IPN Communications, a majority-owned
subsidiary of DataLogic International, Inc. (BULLETINBOARD: DLGI)
(Berlin Stock Exchange: 779612), today announced that it has signed
a distribution agreement with Photron Technologies to begin
introducing IPN's VoIP products and services throughout the
Philippines. Under the terms of the agreement, Photron has agreed
to purchase 1,000 licenses to conduct an initial market penetration
test and to gauge consumer interest with IPN products and services.
This test is expected to confirm Photron's ability to compete
within the existing marketplace and determine feasibility of market
and consumer reception. If successful, Photron has agreed to
purchase an additional 5,000 licenses, per subsequent quarter, or a
minimum of 20,000 licenses over the following 12 months. In
exchange for these volume commitments, IPN has agreed to grant
Photron semi-exclusive distribution rights within the Philippine
market. Moreover, Photron has expressed interest to secure
exclusive distribution rights from IPN for more than 30 additional
countries. Each IPN product license or subscription includes a
unique IP-Phone number. This number can be used with an IP-Phone to
make and receive calls from other IP-Phones or regular phones. The
license also allows a subscriber to dynamically forward the
assigned IP-Phone to any mobile or landline phone anywhere in the
world. "IPN is making steady progress in adding new partners and
distributors throughout the Asia Pacific region to market, sell and
support its VoIP products. This progress is evidenced by IPN's
recently announced agreement with Dragontel for an initial purchase
of 20,000 licenses and phones, which Dragontel intends to
distribute throughout China. Furthermore, IPN is conducting tests
with Teracom Technology in China and Vietnam Post and Telecom
(VNPT) in Vietnam, as well as several other companies for
deployment in their respective markets" said Michael Wu, IPN's CEO.
"We are pleased to add Photron Technologies to our growing team of
distributors. Photron, with its extensive distribution channels and
broad market coverage, will be a valuable alliance to IPN as we
collaborate to aggressively market our products and services
worldwide," Wu added. About Photron Technologies Photron is a

proprietary high speed, ultra narrowband technology. Photron is
