Dori Media Group (“DMG” or “the Company”)(LSE:DMG), the international media company active in the field of television, with a focus on production, distribution, broadcasting and merchandising of Telenovela and Drama, announces that its teen vampire TV series "Split", which was originally produced by Dori Media Darset for Israeli cable platform HOT, has been sold to the Philippines, the first country in Asia to acquire the daily drama. The move into Asia comes as “Split” continues its success in Europe, having been recently sold to Russia and Spain. The original TV series will be aired on free-to-air channels in all territories.

In total, 35 countries have acquired “Split” in its original version since its launch 9 months ago. The drama will be aired dubbed or with subtitles. The second season is currently being shot in Israel.

Nadav Palti, president & CEO of Dori Media Group commented: "We are very pleased that the success of “Split” continues with its recent entry into Asia and its continued popularity among broadcasters in Europe. Once again we witness how a production with a good storyline, international look and advanced shooting techniques is able to cross boundaries and appeal to so many audiences in many countries worldwide".

Yoram Mokady, VP of Content at HOT, commented: “HOT is proud to be the leader of original programming and to be a pioneer in original productions for VOD. The world of On Demand is of great significance among young audiences and HOT will continue to invest in original content for children, as a main objective. “Split” has proven to be an important asset in strengthening our content offering to children on the platform, especially on HOT VOD”.

“Split”, a unique series, was originally produced exclusively for Israeli cable platform HOT’s VOD (Video on Demand) service. Approximately 1 million households in Israel are subscribed to HOT. After only 3 months on-air, “Split” episodes on HOT VOD generated a total of around 7,000,000 viewings. Approximately 90% of viewers watched all available episodes, reaching a record loyalty level. Furthermore, over 30% of households with VOD services watched “Split”. Following “Split”'s success on HOT VOD, the first season of 45 episodes (30 minutes each) is now being aired on Israel's leading channel for children and teenage audiences, "The Children Channel". The Channel’s young viewers also voted "Split" as their favorite programme at the recently held "Children Channel Awards 2009".

In addition to the viewings on HOT VOD, 11 selected episodes of “Split” were shown on www.ynet.co.il, Israel’s leading internet portal, achieving an unprecedented number of viewings in Israel. Following the show’s huge success on HOT VOD and on-line, both HOT and “The Children Channel” have decided to invest in producing a second season of “Split”, which will also contain 45 episodes, each 30 minutes in length. The 2nd season, produced by Dori Media Darset, will go on air during Q2 of 2010.
