In accordance with FSA's Disclosure & Transparency Rules, the Company advises
that, following the issue of 54,000,000 ordinary shares on 16 January 2008
pursuant to a placing, its issued share capital comprises 332,768,383 ordinary
shares of 1p each. The voting rights of all of these shares are identical.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the 
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their 
interest in, or a change to their interest in, Energy Asset Management Plc under 
the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
