Eclipse Blinds plc ("the Company") announces that following the conversion of
81,201 Preference Shares, a further 95,572 Ordinary Shares of 25p each in the
Company have been issued. These shares will rank pari passu in all respects
with the existing issued ordinary shares in the Company.  Application has been
made to the Stock Exchange and it is expected that dealings will commence on
Wednesday 24 June 1998.
