Retirement of Director

The Company announces that Michael Eaton is retiring as a director of the Company with effect from the date of the Company's forthcoming annual general meeting, 7 August 2014.

Under the Company's articles of association, Mr Eaton is required to retire by rotation at the annual general meeting. Following a period of ill-health, Mr Eaton has decided not to stand for re-election at the meeting. Mr Eaton, 71, has been a director of the Company since January 2006, and is also a member of the audit committee, remuneration committee and nomination committee of the Company's board.

Mr Eaton is a qualified (non-practising) solicitor who, since the 1970s, has advised numerous highly successful popular music artists, including Eric Clapton, the Bee Gees, Enya and Frankie Goes to Hollywood. He has also represented a number of successful businesses in the entertainment and media sector, including Northern Songs, the Beatles' music publishing company. Mr Eaton is currently chief executive officer of Bushbranch Limited, a music management company providing management services to Eric Clapton.
