Issue of Options

EnCore Oil plc (LSE: EO.) announces that on 6 May 2011, it issued 250,000 options over the Company's ordinary shares to newly appointed Non-Executive Director, Vivien Gibney. These options have been issued under the EnCore Oil plc Share Option Plan 2006 and become exercisable in three equal tranches on the first, second and third anniversaries of the date of grant at an exercise price of 94.625 pence per share (the closing mid price of the Ordinary Shares as at the date of grant). If not previously exercised, the options would lapse on the seventh anniversary of the date of grant. Following this grant, the total number of options in issue is 23,048,042, representing 7.9 per cent. of the issued capital of 292,695,488 ordinary shares.
