Eurocity Properties PLC ("Eurocity" or "the Company")

The Board of Eurocity wishes to announce the following transactions in its
securities by Desmond Bloom ("Mr Bloom"), a director of the Company:

* On 21 September 2000 the Company was notified by Mr Bloom that on that day he
had acquired legal ownership of 206,579 Eurocity Ordinary Shares pursuant to his
settlement agreement dated 16 June 2000 with Manx & Overseas PLC.  For the
purposes of this settlement agreement these shares were valued at #77,467 (37.5p
per share).

* On 22 September the Company issued 275,000 Eurocity Ordinary shares at par to
Mr. Bloom in satisfaction of its obligations to Mr. Bloom arising from its
agreement with him dated 17 March 1998, relating to incentive arrangements, as
subsequently varied.

Following the transactions referred to above, Mr. Bloom holds 492,895 Eurocity
Ordinary Shares, representing 13.00 per cent of the Company's issued Ordinary
share capital as enlarged by the issue of the incentive shares.

The Company has a continuing obligation to Baron Bloom in respect of its
incentive agreement with him in the amount of 125,000 Eurocity Ordinary Shares.
