AGM
Trading Statement

Thursday 22 June 10:30am

At the AGM held today Rod Bransgrove, chairman of Entertainment Rights PLC,
said:

"I would like to use this opportunity to comment on our progress since the
year end.

"Consistent with our stated objectives, we have steadily built up our
catalogue of programming and we have now approximately 150 hours of
predominately owned or distributed Intellectual Property.  Recent additions
have included Cubeez, which will be on TV next month and Merlin - The Magical
Dog, a co production with Disney and The Little Entertainment Co (producer of
Watership Down and Casper The Friendly Ghost). This process is continuous and
we are currently assessing a number of further additions to our library. 

"Our TV sales have been particularly encouraging during the past few months
due to the activities of our new distribution division.  We currently have 15
programmes sold to over 70 countries.

"To obtain maximum value from our properties, we are now growing our licensing
and merchandising division.   Significant interest is already being shown in
our established properties such as Basil Brush, which will be on UK television
later this year, Budgie - The Little Helicopter, which we are developing for
the US, and newer properties such as Cubeez.

"We continue to appraise acquisition possibilities which meet our exacting
criteria.  However we will not overpay nor will we make acquisitions which
would not have the effect of enhancing shareholder value. The due diligence
process in respect of the acquisition of intellectual property based companies
is complex and time consuming; however I hope to be able to report positive
developments in this area in due course.

"In summary, I should like to reassure all shareholders that your company is
well on track to achieving all our objectives and I remain optimistic and
excited about the group's future prospects."

All resolutions were passed.
