ER SECURES US BROADCAST AGREEMENT FOR POSTMAN PAT(R) TO AIR ON US NETWORK
                                   TELEVISION

Entertainment Rights Plc (LSE: ERT) the UK's leading global media group
specialising in the ownership of children's and family programming, characters
and brands announces the signing of a US broadcast agreement with leading US
children's network, qubo which airs on NBC, Telemundo and ION Media Networks'
nationwide television station group.

The agreement will see Postman Pat(R) airing on US network television for the
first time. Through its recent acquisition of Classic Media Holdings Inc., ER
holds a minority stake in qubo, which launched in the US in 2006 on NBC, ION
Television and Telemundo which broadcasts in both English and Spanish. NBC has
99% reach in the US market and the qubo multi-platform offerings includes a
dedicated 24/7 digital television children's network which runs across ION
Media Networks' nationwide television station group, a branded website and
video-on-demand services.

Postman Pat(R) will make his debut on qubo's NBC and ION Television blocks, the
24 hour qubo digital channel and the Spanish language channel, Telemundo, in
October 2007. Today's announcement follows Postman Pat(R)'s successful US
broadcast on HBO Family where the series launched in September 2005. This move
to network television underlines the popular demand for Postman Pat(R) in the
US.

The Company is also pleased to announce today that following the success of the
animated series 3-2-1 Penguins! on qubo, where it is the number one rated
programme on the branded children's block, ER and its wholly owned subsidiary,
Big Idea, Inc., have commenced production on 20 x 30 minute episodes of this
popular animated comedy series. The new series of 3-2-1 Penguins! will debut on
qubo in Autumn 2007.

Mike Heap, Chief Executive Officer, Entertainment Rights, commented:

"We are delighted to have secured such a strong US broadcast platform for
Postman Pat(R). The US is a key territory for ER and this agreement opens up
further opportunities for the roll out of a consumer products programme into
the world's largest media market. We believe that qubo provides a strong, safe
and trusted platform for the Postman Pat(R) brand to launch into millions of
American households, and we look forward to building on this platform to
maximise the potential of Postman Pat(R) in this key market.

Following ER's recent acquisition of Classic Media including Big Idea, Inc., we
are already experiencing the benefits of the Enlarged Group as evidenced by
qubo's commission of further episodes of its number one ratings winner, 3-2-1
Penguins!"
