ENTERTAINMENT RIGHTS APPOINTS FORMER DISNEY PRESIDENT OF WORLDWIDE PUBLISHING AS
CEO & PRESIDENT OF NORTH AMERICAN OPERATIONS

Entertainment Rights Plc (LSE: ERT), the UK's leading global media group
specializing in the ownership of children's and family programming, characters
and brands, today announces the appointment of Deborah Dugan to the position of
CEO & President of Entertainment Rights North America. Dugan will report
directly to Mike Heap, CEO, Entertainment Rights Plc,. Her appointment is
effective from May 15th 2007 and she will be based at the company's US
headquarters in New York. The Board of ER firmly believes that the appointment
of Dugan is a significant addition to the Executive Management.

Dugan's career spans over 16 years of diverse media experience, most recently as
President of Disney Publishing Worldwide. At Disney, Dugan oversaw 275 magazines
and published over 4,000 new book titles, leading a team of over 500 employees
worldwide and generating $1.8 billion in global retail sales. Dugan was
instrumental in the acquisition of Baby Einstein by the Walt Disney Company in
2001 and ushered in new properties, including the Cheetah Girls, W.I.T.C.H, and
Artemis Fowl. Prior to Disney, Dugan was an EVP at EMI Records Group working
with artists such as Sir Paul McCartney and Joan Baez. Dugan started her career
as a corporate lawyer in a Wall Street firm.

Dugan's appointment follows the successful acquisition of both Classic Media and
Big Idea in the United States earlier this year. Both businesses are wholly
owned subsidiaries of Entertainment Rights and with Dugan on board the company
is ideally placed to significantly expand the enlarged portfolio in the US.

At Entertainment Rights Dugan will have overall responsibility for the
day-to-day running of the US operations (including Canada) which encompasses
Entertainment Rights US, Classic Media and Big Idea. Dugan's main role will
focus on further building and maximizing the revenue streams for the group's
entire brand portfolio across TV, Licensing & Merchandising, DVD/Video and
Digital & Music. Dugan will also work closely with the Group's Executive
Management team based in London to formulate the strategic direction of the
business as well as exploiting new business development opportunities ensuring
the company maintains its leading position.

The combined group owns or controls over 300 characters and brands such as
Where's Waldo, Postman Pat, Rupert Bear, Lassie, Casper the Ghost, Lone Ranger
and George Of The Jungle. The portfolio comprises over 8,700 episodes of high
quality content spanning a multitude of demographics.

Commenting on the appointment, Mike Heap, CEO, Entertainment Rights Plc, said:
"We have secured one of the most talented commercial and creative Executives to
be found within the US media landscape. Deborah will spearhead the growth of our
newly combined portfolio of brands by leveraging our successful international
structure to achieve rapid US expansion. Deborah's impeccable track record in
leading Disney's worldwide publishing business, as well as playing a major role
in the acquisition of leading US brand Baby Einstein are significant
achievements. Following Deborah's appointment, Entertainment Rights is well
positioned to significantly expand as a major player in the US children's and
family brand arena."
