                       MIPCOM AND BRAND LICENSING UPDATE

Entertainment Rights Plc 22nd October (LSE: ERT), the UK's leading global media
group specialising in the ownership of children's and family programming,
characters, and brands today announces an update on trading at this month's
MIPCOM global television event as well as updates following Brand Licensing
(London), the only pan-European event dedicated to licensing and brands.

The combined group had a record attendance at both markets with unprecedented
demand for ER's brands and content.

Key Brands

Postman Pat(R)

The brand new BBC commissioned series of Postman Pat(R) Special Delivery Service
(SDS) continues to generate significant interest in key international 
territories with a broadcast agreement already secured with Super RTL in
Germany. Following MIPCOM, ER is in discussion with broadcasters in key
territories including Denmark, Hong Kong, the Middle East and Malaysia.
Following the recent appointment of UK master toy licensee, Character Options,
Postman Pat(R) has generated significant interest from existing licensees, new
potential licensees and retailers who are eager to exploit new opportunities for
this classic contemporary brand.

Rupert Bear(R)

An extensive licensing programme for Rupert Bear(R) is in place to support the
highly rated TV series, Rupert Bear Follow the Magic, currently airing on
Channel 5's Milkshake. A complete toy range has recently launched across UK
retailers. Rupert Bear(R) merchandise is also featured in the UK's 2007
Christmas Dream Toy list for pre-schoolers. The Brand Licensing Show saw new
licensees secured with William Lamb for Footwear and H & A for Toiletries. New
TV broadcast agreements agreed at MIPCOM include TVP in Poland and MBC in the
Middle East, further cementing the international roll out of Rupert Bear(R)
which already includes France 5, Super RTL (Germany), NRK (Norway) and TVO
(Canada).

Finley The Fire EngineTM

Following impressive ratings on CBeebies for the newly launched Finley The Fire
EngineTM animated pre-school TV series and with a five year commitment from the
BBC to schedule the 78 x 11 min show, ER is in negotiation with four major toy
companies. Licensee Paul Lamond has been signed for jigsaw puzzles and board
games and will be launching product at Spring Fair 2008. Leading publisher Titan
has secured rights to produce a monthly magazine which is anticipated to launch
at retail in April 2009. Agreements have also been signed by international
broadcasters including ABC in Australia, NRK in Norway, C4U South Korea as well
as negotiations with new partners in the Middle East, Thailand and Poland.

Basil Brush(R)

Harper Collins has signed a five year agreement for Basil Brush(R) publishing
rights. Basil's live events programme in partnership with Duo Entertainment has
also been extended with a new licensing agreement which sees Basil Brush(R)
appearing in even more theatrical venues and cruise ships. The Basil Brush
ShowTM now has a broadcast platform in over 85 territories

Jim Jam & SunnyTM

Jim Jam & SunnyTM which is now broadcasting on ITV, CITV and GMTV in the UK is
set for a tremendous 2008 as both magazines and books are now on shelf in all
retailers across the UK with the DVD debuting in the ASDA charts. A wide range
of new licensees have been signed at Brand Licensing which will see a colourful
range of plush product from Gosh launch at retail in January 2008. Recent TV
broadcast agreements include Al Jazeera in the Middle East and Astro in
Malaysia.

Classic Media

ER continued to receive an excellent response from broadcasters, retailers and
new media partners at both MIPCOM and Brand Licensing for its Classic Media
properties.

George of the JungleTM secured further international broadcast agreements
including ATV in Hong Kong and Cartoon Network in Italy, adding to the 40
territories already secured.

Following the international success of Casper the Friendly Ghost(R), pre-sales
negotiations continue on a brand new Casper's Scare SchoolTM animated television
series which is currently in production for TF1 (France) and Cartoon Network
Europe. A number of deals are in negotiation across all major European markets.
Casper the Friendly Ghost(R) also received widespread interest from a number of
retailers and licensees who are interested in exploiting the property for
Halloween 2008.

Other Classic Media broadcast agreements concluded at MIPCOM include a variety
of deals for the world's most famous dog Lassie(R). In addition, a number of
agreements were secured for classic animated movies including Snow Queen,
Pinocchio, Snow White Happily Thereafter, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer(R),
Santa Claus is Comin To Town(R) and Frosty The SnowmanTM.

Big Idea

3-2-1 Penguins!TM the highest rated show on NBC network, as part of the qubo(R)
Saturday morning programming block, received an excellent response from buyers
at MIPCOM. ER is currently in discussions for pre-sales with a number of
broadcasters, building on broadcast agreements which are in place with France 5
and Nickelodeon in the Netherlands, amongst others.

Digital

ER's digital business continues to grow. During MIPCOM, a Video On Demand (VOD)
agreement for Canal J in France and Babelgum was secured and a number of VOD
deals are currently in negotiation with major operators including BT Vision,
Joost, TF1 and Mobitv.

ER continues to successfully capture the digital gaming market and has secured a
number of key agreements which have placed content on digital gaming platforms
including key brands Postman Pat(R), Casper The Friendly Ghost(R), George of the
JungleTM, Underdog(R), Lassie(R), Rupert Bear(R), and Rocky & BullwinkleTM. ER
is also in negotiations with Ignition for a Basil Brush(R) Nintendo DS game.

Third Party Distribution

Toopy and Binoo

ER has secured worldwide distribution rights (excluding North America) from
Canadian based Spectra Animation for Toopy and Binoo. Toopy (a loveable mouse)
and Binoo (a tiny cat) are inseparable friends who enjoy life to the fullest.
The agreement sees ER acquiring two series as well as interactive TV segments
which lend themselves perfectly to delivering multiplatform content and (6 x
25mins ) thematic/holiday specials. Targeted at 2 - 5 year olds, Toopy and Binoo
has a strong broadcast platform in the home of its original animators Canada,
where it is a consistently top 5 rated programme on both Treehouse and
Telequebec. Both broadcasters, in partnership with PBS, are developing series 2
for delivery in Spring 2008.
