    ("ER" or the "Company")

    Interim Management Statement

    Entertainment Rights Plc (LSE: ERT), the UK's leading global media group specialising in the ownership, acquisition, exploitation and
distribution of children's and family programming, characters and brands, today issues its first interim management statement in accordance
with the UK Listing Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules. It covers the period from 1 January 2008 to 18 May 2008 (the "Relevant
Period").

    During the Relevant Period, the Company has continued to make progress in exploiting its global brand portfolio of over 3,600 hours of
content. As announced on 17 April 2008, the Company was pleased with the levels of interest in its programming from global broadcasters at
the MIPTV global content event for buying, selling, co-producing, financing and distributing entertainment content held in April 2008. 

    On 18 March 2008, Nick Phillips was appointed Chief Executive Officer to lead ER's next stage of development. Since his appointment,
Nick Phillips has been undertaking, and continues to undertake, a strategic review of the ER Group businesses.

    Following the acquisition and successful integration of Classic Media in 2007, the Company's trading remains weighted to the fourth
quarter of its financial year. Other than as detailed above, there have been no events or transactions during the Relevant Period which have
materially impacted ER's financial position.

    The Company will provide a further update on current trading on Wednesday, 4 June 2008, the date of its Annual General Meeting.
