    ENTERTAINMENT RIGHTS PLC 
    ("ER" OR THE "COMPANY")
    BOARD CHANGES
    The Company today announces that Elizabeth Gaines, ER's Chief Finance & Operations Director, has resigned to take up a Chief Financial
Officer position with a company in the travel and leisure sector.  Elizabeth will be leaving the Group in the most amicable of circumstances
with effect from 29 August 2008. The Company is currently in the process of recruiting a Chief Financial Officer and this appointment is
expected to be announced in due course.
    In addition, the Company also announces the appointments with effect from 21 July 2008 of Sir Robin Miller and Richard Brooke as
Non-Executive Directors (and in the case of Robin Miller, as Deputy Chairman) and the resignations as Non-Executive Directors of Julian Paul
and Irvin Fishman with effect from 31 October 2008.
    Robin Miller was formerly Chief Executive and Chairman of Emap plc, one of the UK's leading media groups and since 2003, he has been the
senior media advisor to HgCapital.  His current directorships include Mecom Group plc, Ibis Media VCT 1 & 2 plc and Edge Performance VCT
plc.  He will also chair the Remuneration Committee of the Board.
    Richard Brooke is currently Director of Corporate Development at Setanta Sport Holdings Ltd and was previously Group Finance Director at
British Sky Broadcasting plc.  He was previously a non-executive director of Luminar plc and is currently also a senior adviser to Close
Brothers Corporate Finance. He will chair the Audit Committee of the Board and his experience will contribute significantly to that
Committee's work.
    With regard to Robin Miller's and Richard Brooke's appointments, there are no further disclosures required under paragraph 9.6.13 of the
Listing Rules of the U.K. Listing Authority.
    Commenting on the Board changes, Rod Bransgrove, Chairman of the Company said:-

Company has been searching for independent Non-Executive Directors.  We are delighted to welcome Robin Miller and Richard Brooke to the

input into our Board discussions.
