BBC Commissions New Postman Pat(R) Series

Entertainment Rights Plc ("ER"), the specialist media group, is pleased to
announce that it has secured a significant new commission from the BBC which
will see one of the UK's best loved animation characters, Postman Pat(R),
broadcast on terrestrial and free to air satellite and cable television into the
year 2010.

ER believes the new commission exemplifies the BBC's belief in Postman Pat(R) as
a classic evergreen character.

An initial all new series of Postman Pat(R), comprising 26x15 minute episodes
and 4x30 minute Special feature-length programmes is currently in production and
will debut on CBeebies and BBC2 later this year.

The BBC has now commissioned a further 26x15 minute episodes - ensuring that
Postman Pat(R) will run on BBC channels into 2010, making a total of 78 episodes
and 8 half hour Specials now under license to the BBC.

Postman Pat is one of the UK's most successful animated characters. Since the
first Postman Pat(R) series appeared on BBC TV in 1981, Pat has struck a chord
with children throughout the world. The original series has been sold into over
65 countries and to date, more than 15 million books have been sold worldwide.

Entertainment Rights believes the pre-Christmas timing of the new shows will
have significant impact on demand for Postman Pat(R) merchandising and a
corresponding release of licensed merchandise is planned for the autumn.

The programmes are being produced by Entertainment Rights in association with
Cosgrove Hall Films and CBeebies.

Mike Heap, Chief Executive Officer, Entertainment Rights commented:-

"This new commission for Postman Pat(R) comes hot on the heels of a recommission
for Little Red Tractor and demonstrates both our strong ongoing relationship
with the BBC and our ability to create top quality children's and family
entertainment. Postman Pat(R) is proving hugely popular around the globe and has
to date sold to over 65 countries worldwide. In the UK this year the brand will
have significant retail presence with over 50 licensees launching a range of
licensed merchandise this autumn."
