                                 Result of EGM


The Food & Drink Group plc is pleased to announce that at the Extraordinary
General Meeting of the Company held in connection with the placing of ordinary
shares in the Company at 250p each (the "Placing Shares"), all the resolutions
put to shareholders were passed.


Admission to trading on AIM of the Placing Shares is expected to take place on
13 August 2007.
