Director Shareholding and Grant of Options

Formjet plc ("Formjet" or "the Company") announces that the Board has granted
options over a total of 1,044,000 ordinary shares in the Company to directors of
the Company. All the options will vest on or after 4th July 2007 but before 4th
July 2015, and are exercisable at a price of 7p per ordinary share.

The numbers of options granted to each director are as follows:

Kevin McGovern                                    156,000
Chris Roberts                                     120,000

The Company has also been notified that Kevin McGovern on 4th July 2005 sold
740,740 ordinary shares in the market at a price of 63/4p per share. The sale
was made by Mr McGovern to assist in the purchase of a new home. Following the
sale, Mr McGovern is beneficially interested in 2,791,580 ordinary shares in the
Company, approximately 3.21% of the Company's issued share capital.
