Appendix 3B - Darwin Strategic 
 
Forte Energy NL ("Forte Energy" or "The Company") (ASX/AIM: FTE) 
 
The  Company advises that an Appendix 3B form was lodged on the Australian Stock Exchange today confirming 
the  issue  of  29,250,000 fully paid ordinary shares to Darwin Strategic Limited ("Darwin"),  a  majority 
owned subsidiary of Henderson Global Investors' Volantis Capital. 
 
The  shares  were issued at a price of 2.01p (A$ 2.98 cents) per share, raising GBP587,177 ($869,961)  before 
costs.  This  share  issue  is  the  first draw down under the GBP10 million discretionary  equity  financing 
facility announced on 15 February 2013. 
 
Application has been made for the new shares to be admitted to trading on both the ASX and AIM.  Trading in 
the new shares is expected to occur on AIM on around 11 March 2013.
