Share buy back

Qatar Investment Fund Plc (the "Company") announces that on 14 December 2012 it purchased 25,000 of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD0.8925 and 50,000 of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD0.895. Following the above purchases, the Company holds 9,983,768 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 180,455,212 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).

The above figure of 180,455,212 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
