               Changes to reporting structures at Glanbia plc

Glanbia plc announces that the following changes have been made to reporting
structures within the Company, effective immediately:

*         The Agribusiness Division, which previously reported to Mr John
          Moloney, Group Managing Director, will now report to Mr Billy Murphy, 
          Deputy Group Managing Director;

*         Glanbia Foods, Inc., the Group's USA cheese business, which previously
          reported to Mr Billy Murphy, will now report to Mr John Moloney.
