New York, N.Y., August 3, 2009 - Following the announcement of Globe Specialty 
Metals, Inc.'s (AIM: GLBM.L) initial public offering on Nasdaq on July 30, 2009, 
the Company has today made an application for 5,600,000 common shares to be 
admitted to trading on AIM. Trading is expected to commence on 7 August 2009. 
 
 
Following admission to trading of the 5,600,000 common shares, the Company will 
have 72,544,254 common shares in issue.
