Notification of Major Interests in Shares

Notification in accordance with Part VI of the Companies Act 1985

The Company received two notifications on 20 February 2006 from Barclays
Corporate Secretariat the first a letter dated 16 February 2006 informing it
that as at 15 February 2006, Barclays PLC through its "legal entities", had a
notifiable interest in 7,862,303 shares representing 21.18% of the Company's
issued ordinary share capital, the second, a letter dated 17 February 2006
informing it that as at 16 February 2006, Barclays PLC through its "legal
entities", had a notifiable interest in 8,209,470 shares representing 22.11% of
the Company's issued ordinary share capital
