Porton Down, UK, 7 October 2014: GW Pharmaceuticals (AIM: GWP) hereby provides notification that application has today been made to the London Stock Exchange for admission to trading on AIM of 13,601 new ordinary shares of 0.1p each ("New Ordinary Shares").

The New Ordinary Shares are being issued pursuant to a subscription agreement connected to the acquisition of certain IP rights.

It is expected that such admission will become effective on 13 October 2014 and following admission to trading of the New Ordinary Shares 236,685,496 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each will be in issue.
