MONDAY, 1 August 2005 - Home Entertainment Corporation PLC ("the company")
announces that Managing Director, Anthony Skitt, has assumed direct
responsibility for the company's Retail Division.

Gerad Barclay has resigned as a Board director with effect from 31 July 2005.

The company's trading performance for the 52 weeks ended 4 June 2005 was in line
with market expectations. Preliminary results will be announced on 30 August
2005.
