                      Global Brands S.A. (the"Company")

                         Result of Tender Offer

The Company is pleased to announce the result of the Tender Offer, made to
shareholders by Messrs Moldawsky and Lachovitz, respectively former Chairman and
Chief Executive Officer of the Company.

The Tender Offer closed on 25 March 2008 having been accepted by shareholders to
the extent of 323,674 Ordinary Shares of CHF 2.10 each, representing
approximately 6.71 per cent of the issued share capital of the Company.

Accordingly, Messrs Moldawsky and Lachovitz hold, jointly, 6.71 per cent of the
issued share capital of the Company.
