                              DIRECTORS' INTERESTS

The Company was notified on 24 March 2004 by Peter Symons, Technical Director
that on that date he sold at 112p per share the 50,000 ordinary shares he
acquired on 18 March 2004 following the exercise of share options. The 50,000
shares represent 0.12 per cent. of the Company's share capital and his remaining
holding of 5,000 ordinary shares represents 0.02 per cent of the Company's share
capital.
