24 November 2008 it bought 25,058,100 shares in JJB Sports plc ("JJB") at a price of 32.25 pence per share, being 10.02% of the issued
voting ordinary share capital of JJB. JD does not hold any other ordinary shares in JJB.  JD has made this strategic investment in JJB
because of its important place in the performance sports retail market.
