                                     Drilling Update

The Board of Kiwara, the Zambian based mining exploration Company, is pleased to
announce a significant drilling result on its base metal target at Kalumbila
which confirms both the Company's preliminary results and initial optimism.

Highlights:

*        Bore Hole L27 assayed 0.59% Copper over 224m

*        A specific zone assayed 1.02% Copper over 96m

Core Drilling Update:

The Company drilled bore hole L27, 50m north and down-dip of their Reverse
Circulation bore hole LR3 (which reported on 29 January 2008, 36m intersection
of 0.66% Copper from 24m, and includes a 3m intersection of 1.33% Copper from
33m).

The results of bore hole L27are:

The Company continues its exploration programme at Kalumbila with the objective
of extending the strike and confirming the proximity to surface of the copper
mineralisation.

The assays of the core samples from this bore hole were carried out by Alfred H
Knight of Kitwe, Zambia an internationally accredited laboratory (SANAS, UKAS,
QMS)

Colin Bird, Chairman of Kiwara plc, commented: "These impressive results
certainly justify our previous comments with regard to the potential for near
surface copper mineralisation at Kalumbila and the potential for a bulk mining
target. The Company is pursuing an aggressive exploration programme with
